The Valley Vista Monsoon added another milestone when Andrew Buckland became the fist Monsoon player to crack the 100-yard rushing barrier at Camelback High.

Buckland rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns as the Monsoon set a school record for points with 21. After scoring their first touchdown on the final play last week, Valley Vista expanded on that with three touchdowns at Camelback.

The offensive output was not enough, however, as Camelback rolled out the offensive machine in a 61-21 win. Michael Liggins unofficially rushed for 228 yards on 15 carries, but five of those carries were for touchdowns. Kaylin Ashley had eight carries for 159 yards.
