NOV. 2, 2007 -- Willow Canyon will get a quick chance to avenge an early-season loss. The Wildcats earned the No. 13 seed at this month's 5A-Division II state football playoffs and will face Ironwood Ridge in the first round this week.
No. 4 Ironwood Ridge (7-3) defeated Willow Canyon (7-3) 19-14 in a meeting in the third week of the season. The game was the Wildcats' home opener.
